The 26th Korea-China Forum for the Future
On October 20, the KF and the Chinese People’s Institute of ForeignAffairs (CPIFA) will jointly hold the 26th Korea-China Forum for theFuture online.
Launched in 1994, the forum is a comprehensive dialogue channel forthe leaders of the two countries. Participants include high-rankinggovernment officials and opinion leaders in the private sector.Alternately held in Korea and China, the annual forum facilitates thediscussion of major bilateral issues and aids in building mutualunderstanding, helping participants reach important agreements. Due tothe COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s forum will be held online to reduceperson-to-person contact. It will be conducted behind closed doors.
Delegates will hold in-depth discussions on Korea-China relations,peace in Northeast Asia, bilateral economic cooperation, and theexpansion of cultural and human exchange between the two countries.
