“The beauty of buncheong-sagi from the past and present appreciated online”

The Korea Foundation strives to communicate effectively with the rest of the world on behalf of the Korean people. Together with Gana Foundation for Arts and Culture, which is leading the efforts to promote arts and culture, we hold the special online exhibition, “The Essence of Korean Aesthetics - Ancient and Modern Buncheong-sagi”.
The exhibition was initially scheduled to open at the Museum of the Meissen Porcelain Foundation in Germany in July and at the State Museum of Oriental Art in Moscow, Russia, in November this year. Instead, it will be shown online due to the worldwide spread of COVID-19.
The special online exhibition, “The Essence of Korean Aesthetics - Ancient and Modern Buncheong-sagi”, will feature a VR video, an introductory film, a video of works, and a brochure. All the contents will be available in Korean, English, German, and Russian. They will be on offer to anyone free of charge on the web sites of the Korea Foundation, the Museum of the Meissen Porcelain Foundation in Germany, and the State Museum of Oriental Art in Moscow, as well as on YouTube.

“온라인에서 느끼는 고금 분청사기의 아름다움”

국민과 함께 세계와 소통하는 한국국제교류재단은 미술문화의 대중화에 앞장서는 가나문화재단과 공동주최로 온라인 특별전 『한국 미학의 정수–고금 분청사기』를 개최합니다.
이 전시는 본래 2020년 7월 독일 마이센 도자 박물관을 시작으로, 11월에는 러시아 모스크바 동양 박물관에서 순회 전시가 개최될 예정이었지만 세계적인 COVID-19 확산 상황으로 인하여 온라인 전시로 대체하게 되었습니다.
온라인 특별전 『한국 미학의 정수–고금 분청사기』는 VR, 전시 스케치, 작품별 영상 및 브로슈어로 구성되며, 모든 콘텐츠는 한국어, 영어, 독일어, 러시아어의 4개 국어로 제공됩니다. KF와 독일 마이센 도자 박물관, 러시아 모스크바 국립 동양 박물관의 홈페이지와 유튜브를 통해 누구나 무료로 관람할 수 있습니다.
