Invitation of Distinguished Guests from the Parliamentary Group

Parliamentary leaders from Italy, Russia, India, and eight other countries will visit Korea during the week of September 22–28 upon an invitation from the KF. The group of twelve includes the President of the Italian Chamber of Deputies and the Deputy Speaker of the Tanzanian National Assembly.
   While in Korea on the KF’s Invitation Program for Distinguished Guests, the parliamentary group will learn firsthand about Korean politics and society by observing the Korean legislative system at the National Assembly. They will also visit the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where they will be debriefed on the political situation in and around the Korean peninsula.
   This invitation program is expected to be an opportunity for influential politicians from their respective countries to better understand Korea.
