This program is based on a mutual recognition that education, which can enhance young students' proper understanding about each other's history and culture, can be instrumental in transforming the current Korea-Japan relationship into a more future-oriented partnership.
During their stay, the participants will attend lectures introducing Korea, visit a high school, and go on field trips to historic and cultural sites, including the Independence Memorial Hall and DMZ. Prior to this visit, the Japan Foundation successfully conducted a similar function for Korean secondary school teachers in Tokyo and Hyogo Prefecture, from September 20 to October 4.
