The 5th Korea-Russia Forum will be held in Moscow, Russia on October 16-17, under the co-organization of the Korea Foundation and the Russia Diplomatic Academy. At this year's forum, issues pending between Korea and Russia will be discussed in depth. The discussion topics will cover issues related to the political situations in both countries, prospects of cooperation in security matters, the North Korean nuclear issue, and economic cooperation, as well as cooperation in the fields of Korean and Russian science technology and culture. This year, the North Korean nuclear issue will be a subject of keen interest for both the Korean and Russian participants. During the forum, Korean and Russian delegations are also scheduled to visit Korolev, which is a city renowned for space science in Russia.
