The first Korean Studies Workshop will be held at La Thanh Hotel, Hanoi from July 28 through 30. The workshop has been organized by the Center for Korean Studies of the Vietnamese Academy of Social Sciences, and targets teachers who teach Asian history, geography and culture at secondary schools in the vicinity of Hanoi. The workshop is expected to enable secondary school teachers to become better acquainted with Korea through lectures on various subjects encompassing Korea's politics, economy, society, culture as well as Korea-Vietnam relations. These teachers, upon returning to their classrooms, will impart Korea-related information and knowledge to their students.
