A workshop for Korean language instructors at Japanese universities and colleges will be held at Kyoto Research Park, Kyoto from August 2 through 7. A wide range of subjects, from syntax to computer-aided instruction, related to Korean language pedagogy will be covered during the six days. This workshop will serve as an on-the-job training opportunity for the participants. The workshop is designed to mitigate the shortage of qualified Korean language instructors that has resulted from the steep increase of Korean language courses at Japanese universities.
