◎ Ninth Conference of Russian Koreanists set for Moscow from March 29-30 The Ninth Conference of Russian Koreanists will take place March 29-30 with the Korea Foundation's support in the Institute of Far Eastern Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences in Moscow. About 35 Korean studies specialists from Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States are scheduled to participate. The conference is held in March every year under the auspices of the Center for Korean Studies affiliated with the Russian Academy of Sciences' Institute of Far Eastern Studies, and this is the first time it will include Koreanists from the Commonwealth of Independent States. Papers and discussion topics will cover Korean politics, economics and culture under the theme "Korea: New Horizons."
