Under the invitation program of 'Next-Generation Leaders visit to Korea', eleven prominent individuals from Eastern Europe countries will visit Korea during the period of September 21 to September 28. These Next-Generation Leaders are important figures from the spheres of politics, academia, media and government, who are expected to play important roles in Eastern Europe. During this visit, participants will be briefed and hold discussions on Korea's economic development and current trade issues at Korea Economic Research Institute (KERI). They will visit Korea Foundation Cultural Center, the Institute for Foreign Affairs and National Security (IFANS) and Center for International Area Studies to discuss the relationship between Korea and Eastern Europe countries. In addition, they will also have a chance to see diverse aspects of Korea by visiting historical sites in Seoul and Gyeongju as well as industrial sites such as POSCO and Hyundai Motors.
