Next-Generation Leaders from Latin America

Under the invitation program of “Next-Generation Leaders’ Visit to Korea,” 10 prominent persons from Latin America countries will visit Korea during the period March 21 to 28. These Next-Generation Leaders include diplomat, journalist and specialists in various fields of industry, resources, economy and commerce from Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Chile, Argentina, Venezuela, Peru, Trinidad and Tobago, Belize and Jamaica, who are expected to play important roles in enhancing relationships between Korea and their respective countries. During the visit, participants will be briefed and have discussions on Korea’s resources industry, information technology and research on energy by visiting the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Energy, Ministry of Information and Communication and Korea Energy Economic Institute. They will also visit the National Assembly, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency, Korea Economic Research Institute to discuss Korea's trade issues, foreign policy and economic development. In addition, they will have a chance to sample diverse aspects of Korea by visiting historical sites in Seoul and Gyeongju and by touring Hyundai Motors.
