The 7th Korean Studies Workshop for Chinese Secondary School Teachers, co-sponsored by the Foundation and China’s Ministry of Education, is being held from September 12-21. The Hankuk University of Foreign Studies Center for International Area Studies is conducting the program for 30 educators from China, who are eager to learn about Korea. The program will include a series of lectures, visits to secondary schools in Korea, and opportunities to experience diverse aspects of Korean arts and culture. Participants will also visit various historic/cultural sites in Seoul and Gyeongju, capital of the ancient Silla Kingdom. This annual workshop results in far-reaching benefits, since the participating teachers will pass on the knowledge they have acquired from this experience to their students in China.
