The 12th Korea-China Forum for the Future was held at Lotte Hotel on Jeju island, on November 23-24, under the co-sponsorship of the Korea Foundation and the Chinese People's Institute of Foreign Affairs(President: Yang Yen Chang). Representatives from the government, business, media, and academic spheres from both countries discussed "Building Permanent Peace on the Korean Peninsula and Cooperation between Korea and China ", " Seeking the way to Economic Cooperation and Co-prosperity between Korea and China", "Promoting the Mutual Understanding between Korea and China." This year's delegation from Korea consisted of 22 members including National Assemblymen Kim Chong-in; Park Jae-kyu, President of Kyungnam University; Yoon Young-kwan, Professor of Seoul National University; Kim Yong-deok, President of Northeast Asian History Foundation. 10 distinguished representatives from China participated, including Li Zhaoxing, Honorary President of the Chinese People's Institute of Foreign Affairs; Xu Dunxin, Former Vice Foreign Minister; Shen Jueren, honorary Chairman of China Association of International Trade; Wang Zhen, Vice President of the Chinese People's Institute of Foreign Affairs.
