Mr. Gegham Gharibjanian, Chief of Staff of the National Assembly of Republic of Armenia will visit Korea from July 29 to August 3 by invitation of the Korea Foundation.
Mr. Gharibjanian was vice-minister of foreign affairs in Armenia. Currently, Armenia’s National Assembly has been planning an exchange program for the Speakers of the National Assembly of Korea and Armenia. Therefore he will have discussions on cooperative exchanges between Korea and Armenia at the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea, He is also interested in Korean foreign policy issues. So visiting Korea for the first time is expected to provide the guest a good opportunity to gain a more in-depth understanding of Korea’s foreign policy issues
During his stay in Korea, he will visit the National Assembly and the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade (MOFAT), and the Institute for Russian Studies of Hankuk University of Foreign Studies to discuss ways to promote cooperation in the fields of foreign policy and National Assembly issues affecting Korea and Armenia. He will also visit the National Museum of Korea, the DMZ and the Korean Folk Village in Yong-in city.
