Prof. Alexander Zapesotskiy, Rector of Saint Petersburg University of the Humanities and Social Sciences will visit Korea from October 19 to October 25 by invitation of the Korea Foundation.

The Saint Petersburg University of the Humanities and Social Sciences was established in 1926. Today it has four colleges, 18 departments and 15,000 students. And many reputed expert groups of Saint Petersburg are joining forces with the university.

Through this visit, Prof. Zapesotskiy is expected to contribute to the promotion of a positive image of Korea in Russia, and expand the range of cooperation between universities of the two countries.

During his stay, Prof. Zapesotskiy will visit various universities and institutions, such as Kookmin University, Kyunghee University, Kangnam University, Korea International Labor Foundation, The Hotel Shilla in Seoul and Paradise Hotel in Asan to discuss ways to improve their relationships. He will also get a chance to visit the National Museum of Korea, N Seoul Tower, Insadong, and Youngwolgun for a first-hand opportunity to appreciate Korea’s past and present.
