Dr. Noman Kanafani, Research Coordinator of the Palestine Economic Policy Research Institute (MAS) and also the Associate Professor in Economics at the University of Copenhagen will visit Korea from April 6 to April 12 through the invitation of the Korea Foundation.

The Palestine Economic Policy Research institute (MAS) was founded in Jerusalem in 1994 as an independent non-profit institution to contribute to the policy-making process by conducting economic and social policy research.

During his stay, Dr. Noman Kanafan will visit institutes such as the College of Business & Economics at Yonsei University, Korea Economic Research Institute (KERI), Korea Development Institute (KDI), and Korea Institute for International Economic Policy (KIEP) to discuss ways to improve the relationship between Korea and Palestine. He will also get a chance to visit the Gyeongbokgung Palace, N Seoul Tower, Cheong Gye Cheon Museum, Panmunjom, and other cultural and historic sites in Seoul.
