Ambassador Falilou Diallo, Minister Advisor for African Affairs for the Presidency of the Republic of Senegal will visit Korea will visit Korea from April 19 to April 25.

Arbitration of disputes in Africa is the core diplomacy that President Wade focuses on to exert Senegal’s influence on. Amb. Falilou Diallo is responsible for many of these key diplomatic issues and was sent to various places in Africa as a Presidential Envoy. Therefore, Amb. Diallo, with profound knowledge of and experience in African regional and diplomatic affairs, is expected to exchange substantive information on current affairs of the African continent through visits to Korea’s relevant organizations and participation in academic and cultural events during his visit.

During his stay, Amb. Diallo will visit the Ministry of Foreign Affairs & Trade (MOFAT), the Korea Saemaul Undong Center, the Institute of African Studies at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, and the Sejong Institute. He will also participate in a discussion on “Research on African Conflicts and Mediation” with researchers and professors at the Institute of Foreign Affairs and National Security (IFANS).
