Mr. Dzintars Pomers, Honorary Consul of the Republic of Korea in Latvia and Project Director of SIA ACB, will visit Korea from May 17 to May 23 by invitation of the Korea Foundation.
 

Established in 1992, SIA ACB is the biggest highway construction company in Latvia with many projects from the central government and local governments in Latvia. In addition to being project director in SIA ACB, Mr. Pomers has served successively in the Ministry of Transport of Latvia and as the President & CEO of Riga International Airport. Moreover, he is the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Korea promoting the Korea brand in Latvia. His visit will contribute to a better understanding of the Korean economy, culture and society among the people of Latvia.

During his stay, Mr. Pomers will visit the Federation of Korean Industries, the Construction Association of Korea, the Korea Airport Corporation, the International Constructors Association of Korea, the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency, the Korea Expressway Corporation, the Seoul Transport Operation and Information Service and Expressway & the Transportation Research Institute to discuss ways to improve the relationship in construction, transportation, economic and social areas between Korea and Latvia. In addition, he will have a chance to experience diverse aspects of Korea by visiting historical sites in Seoul and Gyeongju and by touring the industrial facility of POSCO.
