Mr.Paul Kammogne Fokam, President of the PKFokam Institute of Excellence in Cameroon, and his party will visit Korea from May 23 to 29 by invitation of the Korea Foundation.

The PKFokam Institute of Excellence was established in 2007, named after the founder and president Mr. Fokam. There are various majors including computer science, information technology, mining and construction engineering offered by the institute and they focus on training global leaders in Africa. He also owns the First Bank Group and one of the largest micro-finance networks. His visit is expected to contribute to the improvement of Korea's image in Central Africa, including Cameroon, and to help promote sincere friendship between Korea and Cameroon, together with business cooperation in relevant fields.

During his stay, Mr. Fokam and his party will discuss educational exchanges at Korea University, Kyung Hee University Pohang University of Science and Technology and meet with counterparts in the Mining, Housing, Cement, Private Equity and manufacturing at Energy & Mineral Resources Development Association of Korea, Hyundai Construction, SsangYong Cement, Korea Eximbank, STX Construction, Institute of Mine Reclamation Technology at Mine Reclamation Corporation, Korea Africa Association, and so forth. They will also visit the National Museum of Korea, Gyeongbok Palace, Samsung d’light, Gyeongju Cultural Sites, POSCO for a first-hand opportunity to appreciate Korea’s past and present.
