Mr. Gábor Horváth, Vice Editor-in-Chief of the Magyar Nemzet newspaper, Hungary will visit Korea from May 31 through June 6, 2010 by invitation of the Korea Foundation.
Magyar Nemzet is a major Hungarian newspaper which was founded in 1937. It is a conservative daily and its name literally translated means “Hungarian Nation.”
As a major figure in Hungarian media circles, he has since 2000 been the Vice Editor-in-Chief of the Magyar Nemzet. His visit is expected to contribute to a better understanding of Korean culture, society and the economy among the people of Hungary.
During his stay, Mr. Horváth will visit the Dong-A Ilbo, the Federation of Korean Industries, Seoul Metropolitan Government and Hankuk University of Foreign Studies to have discussions on Korea-Hungary relations in the media and related fields. In addition, he will have a chance to experience diverse aspects of Korea by visiting historical sites in Seoul, Gyeongju and Jeju island.
