Under the Invitation Program of “Korea-Japan Youth Exchanges,” the Korea Foundation and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade are co-hosting the visit of a 29-member Japanese Youth Delegation from November 9 to 18, 2010.

The program, “Korea-Japan Youth Exchanges,” was started with an agreement at the Korea-Japan Ministerial Conference in 1971. Since 1992, the Korea Foundation has implemented the Korea-Japan Youth Exchange Program annually, to help Korean and Japanese youth develop a better understanding of each other's history and culture.

During the visit, the delegation, composed of university students, will be provided with an opportunity to gain firsthand experience of Korean culture and its people through homestays and visits to cultural attractions in Seoul, Cheongju, and Busan. In addition, the delegation will have in-depth discussions to enhance the relationship between the two countries, with Korea University and Hankuk University of Foreign Studies (HUFS) fellow students.
