Mr. Rikard Bagun, Chief Director of Indonesia’s Kompas Dairy Newspaper, will visit Korea from December 13 to 18 by invitation of the Korea Foundation.

The Kompas Dairy Newspaper is one of the nation’s leading newspapers, established in 1965, with a current daily circulation of 530,000 copies. Since he is interested in Korean economic development and society, his visit is expected to contribute to help a sincere and balanced view on Korea through his newspaper by meeting with counterparts.

During his stay, he will visit the Korean Culture and Information Service (KOCIS), the Korea Press Foundation, the Dong-A Ilbo, and the Federation of Korean Industries. He will also visit Gyeongju’s historical Sites, attend a “Miso” performance, and visit N Seoul Tower, POSCO, Presseum-Newspaper Museum and the Cheonggyecheon Museum, for a first-hand opportunity to appreciate Korea’s past and present.
