Mr. Thomas Ransford Tetteh, President of the Ghana Journalists Association, will visit Korea from May 25 to 31 by invitation of the Korea Foundation.
Strengthening freedom of speech and solidarity between the domestic and foreign Ghana journalists, his visit is expected to reinforce positive images of Korea in Ghana, which will promote friendship and network-building among journalists of the two countries.
During his stay, Mr. Tetteh will meet with counterparts in the Journalists Association of Korea, the Korean Broadcasting System, the Korea Press Foundation and the Korea Times. There will be a discussion on relations between the two countries, along with Korea′s current economy at the Korean Culture and Information Service, the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency, the Ministry for Food, Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries and the Korea International Cooperation Agency. Mr. Tetteh will also visit the National Museum of Korea, Gyeongbokgung Palace, Hyundai Motors and SK Energy in Ulsan as well as historical attractions in Gyeongju for a first-hand experience of Korea′s past and present lifestyles.
