[Invitation] Mr. Georges Albert Mangones, Adviser to the Good Neighbors in Haiti & Honorary Consul-General of the Republic of Korea

       Mr. Georges Albert Mangones, an adviser to the Good Neighbors in Haiti as well as Honorary Consul-General of the Republic of Korea, will visit Korea from September 16 to 22 as a guest of the Korea Foundation..

       Mr. Mangones who is an architect and also an entrepreneur in Haiti, has been actively supporting the  Korea Embassy, such as with arranging the dispatch of the emergency aid team and news coverage by journalists since the severe earthquake in Haiti on January 12, 2010 as Honorary Consul-General of the Republic of Korea. His visit is expected to raise awareness about Korea and improve interchange of NGO business between Korea and Central & South America through networking with relevant persons and organizations
 
       During his stay in Korea, Mr. Mangones will visit Good Neighbors International, the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), the Korea Saemaul Undong Center, and the Korean Red Cross in order to improve understanding of the restoration projects in Haiti, and to share information and discuss plans for NGO activities between Korea and Haiti. Additionally, he will have an opportunity to visit the National Museum of Korea, a Taekwondo experience program, the Namsangol hanok village, the Cheongwadae Sarangchae Exhibition & Museum, Heyri village, the War Memorial of Korea, and so forth.
