Mr. Al Zaabi Waleed Rashed will visit Korea from October 17 to October 23.

On June 2010, a ceremony was held to mark the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Korea and the UAE. As the manager of Heritage and Arts Administration, Mr. Al Zaabi actively supported the ceremony and successfully managed events such as the ‘Korean Night’ and “Korean Contemporary Art Fair”. We expect his visit to raise mutual awareness and promote further cultural exchanges between Korea and the UAE by establishing an invaluable professional network.

During his stay in Korea, Mr. Al Zaabi will visit the National Museum of Contemporary Art, Gyeonggi Museum of Modern Art and Arko Art Center. He is also invited to the Jeonju City Hall to discuss constructive ways to boost mutual understanding and collaborative innovation of the two nations. Furthermore, Mr. Al Zaabi will have an opportunity to visit the National Museum of Korea, Gyeongbok Palace, Jeonju hanok village and other notable sites.
