Fourth Public Diplomacy Week to Be Held in October
From October 28 to 31, the KF will hold its fourth Public Diplomacy
Week on the theme of “Our Future through Public Diplomacy” as part of
its 30th anniversary celebrations. The week’s events will be held in
person at Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) and online on the event’s
website:

During the three-day program, the KF will publicize Korea’s public
diplomacy achievements to audiences around the world and conduct
discussions on such major public diplomacy issues as digital
diplomacy, humanity’s universal values, science and technology, and
culture.
The week will consist of sessions on topics that commemorate the 30th
anniversary of the KF’s founding. These include: introducing excellent
examples of other countries’ public diplomacy; promoting cultural
empathy; seeking a better future; an overview of the KF’s public
diplomacy activities and projects; encouraging citizens’
participation; and conducting mutual exchange in cultural fields such
as exhibitions, performances, and experiences.
Additional events will include the KF 30th Anniversary Session, in
which participants will review the KF’s intellectual exchange projects
and talk about directions for future development; the Jeju Future
Session, which will provide an opportunity to listen to Jeju
Island-based social leaders; and the Jeju. Experience Session, which
will introduce the island’s unique culture and tourist assets to the
world.
